Healthy Benefits of Green Tea – Cancer Prevention

It has been scientifically proven that green tea helps protect drinkers from cancer. The incidence of cancer is lower in countries where green tea is consumed regularly.

Animal studies have shown that it reduces the formation of tumors in skin, oesophagus, bladder, ovarian and prostate cancer. Its antioxidant properties help to achieve this result.

That’s how it treats all kinds of cancer.

Oesophageal cancer

Animal studies have shown that polyphenol in green tea helps stop the growth of cancer cells in the esophagus. But human studies have yielded different results on its benefits.

The study showed that regular tea consumption is an effective way to stop oesophageal cancer in women. On the other hand, the study proved the opposite: drinking tea often increases the risk of becoming a victim of oesophageal cancer.

Skin cancer

The main polyphenol of green tea, called epigallocatehin gallate, has anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties. Studies on the skin have shown that drinking tea helps prevent the development and growth of skin tumors.

Pancreatic disease

Researchers did this with the pancreas. One study found that men and women who took it were less likely to develop pancreatic cancer. But still there is no 100% guarantee that eating green tea will reduce the risk of pancreatic cancer.

Ovarian cancer

In China, a study was conducted on patients with ovarian cancer, and found that women who used it regularly could live longer than women who did not drink at all.

Prostate cancer

Laboratory studies have shown that green tea extracts inhibit the growth of prostate cancer cells in test tubes. Large studies have shown that people who use tea often reduce their risk of prostate cancer.

Bladder cancer

Some studies have been conducted on the human bladder.

A study was conducted to make sure that there is a link between bladder cancer and tea consumption. One study found that women who use green tea reduce their risk of bladder cancer.
